The Lunar Eclipse on 16/6/2011 was a beauty - this shot was taken on my Willams Optics FLT-132 with a Canon 7D, Tracked on a Losmandy G-11 mount in lunar mode.

Exposure duration was 10 seconds and an ISO of 800 was used to bring out the background stars.

This was one of the darkest eclipses I have seen in my life - absolutely spectacular!

Observing night at Tammin, ASWA’s Dark Sky Observing Site.

My Deep Sky Instruments RC10C on a Losmandy G-11 with Ovision worm installed. CCD camera in use is a QHY-9 mono with Astronomik type IIc filters, tracking with a Starlight Xpress Lodestar CCD and OffAxis Guiding (OAG from Starlight Xpress)
